father's day is just around the corner and if you are reading this blog, chances are you know a father with a cat. here are some gift ideas for those dads who go gaga over their feline pals.

looks like popular female singers are the new "cat ladies". both katy perry and susan boyle are all about their kittehs, with perry referring to her cat as her "substitute boyfriend." morty's jealous.

daily kitteh offers some cute pics of furry finnese, and the result of their dastardly doings. in surprising turn, kitteh destruction is not as cute as it sounds.

cute sleepy kitten is flaunting his cute sleepiness while the rest of us work away the day. he needs to get a job.

forget the easter eggs, today is all about baskets filled with catnip and treats! we may even have to do a feline greenie hunt around the store with dottie a little later on. remember, though, no easter lillies around the kitties.


we also want to do a shout out to madcat fan, erin bowe, who was gracious enough to give props to us in her own isthmus feature. it's people like erin who keep madcat pet supplies number one and make our jobs so much fun!

holiday hours

to celebrate the upcoming holidays madcat has a few schedule changes. we will be open until 5:00pm on Dec. 24th and will be closed on Dec. 25th and for new years we will close at 6:00pm on Dec. 31st and open at noon on Jan. 1.

so if santa is bringing any special toys to the furrkids this year, he may want to do his shopping early.
