what a wild weekend!

the willy st. fair was another total success this year - we met a lot of new folks, some pretty cool dogs and filled up on enough fair food to last us 'til next year. even our truck got a fun, new make-over just in time for the festivities. if you see it driving around town try and see if you recognize any familiar faces (hint: she's black and white and super-duper nice).

but wait! we're not done having fun, yet! this coming sunday is the Monroe Street Festival. with kids activities, live music and bargains galore it should be a fun day to get out and see what the dudgeon-monroe neighborhood has to offer. the events start at 10am and go until 5pm. make sure you stop into MadCat with your dogs for a yummy treat and say hi to miss dottie, herself.

meet foxy!

make room in your hearts for the newest addition to the happy cat crew - miss foxy! she is a beautiful, little 9-month old, medium-haired tri-color calico. since she is still a kitten, her favorite activities include exploring small spaces, climbing to the top of anything and everything, purring and, eventually, sleeping. her only real dislikes are loud noises, so a normal to quiet home would be best for her. if you would like to meet foxy just stop into our monroe st. store or contact the happy cat club of madison for more info.

in other good news, everyone's favorite crazy, little guy, zero, has been adopted! he is now living it up in his new digs and having fun playing with his new siblings, two cats and a dog.

as always, we wish zero and his new guardians the best of luck in their new life together.

meet alex!

alex is a cool cat. he is laid back, self-assured and enjoys singing and window watching. if you are looking for a good family cat this would be the guy for you. he is front paw declawed (ouch!), neutered and ready to find his forever home.

diablo the sweetheart

meet the mis-named ragamuffin, diablo. we think he is around 2 or 3 years old and was surrendered due to allergies. if you like your cats big, fluffy and full of personality then you will surely fall in love with this guy.

kirby

we are pleased to announce the arrival of kirby to our monroe st. location. he is a big, brown and white tabby with a most distinguished looking blaze of white down his nose. he is very sweet and affectionate and likes to show off how handsome he is whenever he gets attention. if you would like to meet kirby just pop into the store or contact the happy cat club of madison.

ping ponged home

good news for ping and his new family, bad news for all of us here. our favorite, crazy little guy went home yesterday to start a new, better life. good luck to you, ping! we will miss you and your goofy antics.

kenny!

we have a new happy cat at monroe st.! we call him kenny but as he matures he may prefer ken. so far he's been pretty quiet but his beautiful face and wise owl eyes sure do draw you in. if you would like to meet kenny just drop on by the store or contact the happy cat club of madison.

ping!

we have a new happy cat at monroe st. we call him mr. ping-a-ling but you can call him ping for short. he's a very striking boy with black and white markings and a goofy personality. fetch seems to be his game of choice but he's also happy to lay around and purr up a storm.

monroe's new look

ok, I have to apologize for not posting anything in awhile. sorry! we've all been crazy-busy with the monroe st. store remodel. now that we are done with the big stuff (like ripping out walls, laying carpet and generally pimping our store) i promise to post more funny pictures and amusing links in the coming days. for now, though, let me leave you with a few pics of what we've been up to.
